Welcome to Christ Church! Wherever you are on your journey of faith – doubting, questioning, seeking, or actively participating in a faith community, we hope and pray that our website helps you. Please join us in worship, music ministry, fellowship meals, Christian education, community service, and plenty of other opportunities to love God and love our neighbor in all that we do. When Jesus’ followers asked him which was the greatest commandment, his response was to give them two: Love God… and love your neighbor as yourself. Sunday, December 7 — Worship at 11:00am Communion Sunday – Music from our choir as well as Bells of Shalom Bible Study begins at 12:15pm
Wednesday December 10 — Pot Luck Supper at 5:30pm. If you are able bring a main dish or dessert to share. Our guest speaker will be Alicia Macier, Director of the Family Opportunity Center of Wait House in Glens Falls. Until recently, Alicia was the Street Outreach and Anti-Trafficking Coordinator for Wait House. Advent is a perfect season to have Alicia join us, as Mary and Joseph had no home and only very basic shelter when Jesus was born. Soon after, they became refugees, depending on the kindness of strangers. Alicia will tell us about Wait House and how Christ Church can rekindle our connection – particularly about ways we can support their work. Mark your calendar for an evening of song, stories, food and our guest Alicia.
